West Asian games to be postponed to a later time. Sepahan’s participation in doubt!

PLDC - The west Asian games will not take place as scheduled. A fax was sent to the International relations committee of IFF Yesterday, indicating that the West Asian games will not take place as scheduled because of the unsafe atmosphere of the Middle East due to the possibility of war. There was no indication of a later date. As a result, Sepahan football team will not participate, if the games are to be postponed, said Mr. Kazemi, Sepahan’s Head coach. The official Olympic committee is still trying to get another nation to host the games, but since already many of Iranian sports teams have pulled out, it seems that Sepahan football club will lose a great chance to participate in  this Tournament.
