Shafizadeh will leave for Dubai to finalize negotiations with Branko Ivankovich.

PLDC - The Managing Director of Esteghlal Ahvaz club has left for Dubai to talk with Ivankovich and also look into other candidates such as Jamal Haji.

Ali Shafizadeh told our reporter: "We have decided to make some changes in our coaching staff after losing some crucial points and our team now practices under Martin Khachatorian and Mr. Boostani."

He added: "The club does not intend to fire Mr. Atef but only asked him to help us as a Technical manager of the team rather than coach."

The club he said, had some talks with Ivankovich and we have also looked into a few Arab coaches such as Jamal Haji. In replying to those who had complained about Mr. Atef's job being taken away, Shafizadeh said: "In the professional world of football we can effort to waste time and we must act quickly if the team is not getting results."

At the end by mentioning that Abadani football fans have a high understanding of the game, he hoped that Esteghlal Ahvaz can soon be an ideal team that can keep the Ahvazi fans happy.
