Iran’s Football Squad Due in Beirut Nov. 17

Mehr News – National football team of Iran has been scheduled to leave here for Beirut Monday to play its first-leg preliminary qualifying match of the 13th Asian Cup against Lebanon on Nov. 19.

The Iranian players restarted their training in the national camp at Azadi Sports Complex, 10km west of Tehran , Friday.

Iran is to entertain Lebanon in the second leg on Nov. 28 but due to the crowd trouble in Iran-North Korea qualifier the officials are waiting for the decision of the Asian Football Confederation.
